Windows 10 already exceeded 7 on installed computers

The operating system is installed in 48.86% of the computers, which represents almost half of the computers in the world

48.86%, that is, about half of computers, already have Windows 10 installed as an operating system, surpassing Windows 7, which is currently used in 31.83% of computers with the Microsoft operating system.

According to the data provided by NetApplications, almost half of computers, 48.86%, have Windows 10 as an operating system as of July 2019, a situation that differs from last year, when it was only present in 37,8% of the equipment.

Windows 10 is, in fact, installed in 17% of computers more than the number of computers that have Windows 7, which currently represents 31.83%, compared to 40.27% of one that placed it in the lead to the latest version of Windows.

This drop of 9% comes when it is only five months before Microsoft stops supporting Windows 7, which will be on January 14, 2020, as announced last April. With this measure, computers that have Windows 7 on those dates will no longer have technical support, updates and solutions.
