The WhatsApp instant messaging platform recently announced that its service will not be available on iPhones with iOS 7 and Android 2.3.7 devices starting on February 2 of next year.

According to spokespersons of the company, the measure will affect users who have not purchased a new telephone or who have not updated their operating system in more than six years.

Currently, in the versions of the mobile operating systems of Google and Apple mentioned before WhatsApp is no longer available to create new accounts or verify existing ones. What it does allow is to continue using the application as they have done so far.
