Whatsapp groups can be silenced forever

The WhatsApp messaging application is working to allow users to choose the option to mute a group forever.
This new feature, which is still in development, is available in the beta version for Android 2.20.197.3, which can be obtained through the Google Play Beta Program.
As reported by the Wabetainfo portal, the company is working to develop and improve the ‘Always Silence’ feature before launching it, so the new feature may not be available to all users.
Until now, the app allows users to choose between muting their groups for eight hours, a week, or a year. In the new update, WhatsApp replaces the one-year option with ‘Always’.
