WarnerMedia streaming service price to be fixed

The streaming service of WarnerMedia does not yet have an official name but responsibles are talking about what the platform will offer and the costs that will range between $ 16 and $ 17 per month

According to several sources, the streaming that WarnerMedia plans to launch AT&T will offer not only content from the chain but also HBO and Cinemax productions as part of the programming that will be available to potential subscribers.

When unifying several proposals in the same service WarnerMedia justifies that the cost to be part of the platform is a bit higher than that of HBO Now and that the standard HD plan of Netflix, which range between $ 14.99 and $ 12.99 respectively.

HBO and WarnerMedia have not yet commented on the prices of the service they are developing. However, there is an important question that must be answered before knowing much more about the project: Why will AT&T risk launching an expensive package when rivals can offer the same at a lower cost?

Some comments maintain that WarnerMedia’s strategy is to take advantage of the fact that HBO will be part of its final product to justify its price. Randall Stephenson, AT & T CEO at a conference said that HBO is part of the backbone of the proposed streaming service.

People interested still wait to see if it will be worth paying for the service that has been revealed, understanding that the SVOD service is planned to be launched in the first quarter of next year.
