The invitation comes after the alliance established with Coinbase to integrate Visa cards to this exchange office

The provider of credit cards and payment services, Visa, could issue virtual cards recharged with cryptocurrencies as expressed by the multinational financial services through a call to companies interested in working with payment cards.

The announcement recently published on the social network Twitter by Cuy Sheffield, CEO of Visa, shows the invitation to cryptocurrency wallet services interested in integrating Visa cards into the Fast Track Fintech program.

The initiative arises thanks to the agreements established with Coinbase, since 2015 to integrate Visa cards to this exchange office. These alliances have been deepened days ago with an agreement that allows Coinbase to issue the first debit cards to make payments directly with bitcoin.

As for the mechanism of use, users of digital wallets can download an application with which they can make transactions, also provide a virtual card and make totally wireless transactions at points of sale.

In this regard, the executive Sheffield indicated that it is possible to make transactions with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the more than 55 million points of sale that accept Visa, and even spend conventional money and receive cryptocurrencies in reward programs.
