Video game E3 will be launched in June 2021

The next edition of the global event for the E3 video game sector will take place in Los Angeles between June 15 and 17 of next year 2021, after the cancellation of this year’s edition due to the coronavirus.

This has been shared with its partners by the association that organizes E3, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), by ensuring that E3 2021 will be a “reimagined” event.

This announcement came after the cancellation of the 2020 edition of E3, which was scheduled to take place on June 9-11, due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We look forward to offering E3 2021 as a reimagined event that brings fans, media and industry together in a showcase celebrating the global video game industry”, the company’s statement said.

ESA has so far provided no further details on holding E3 2020 virtually via “an online experience,” an option it said it was studying to host industry announcements, although developers like Bethesda have already assured that they will not make presentations.
