Venezuelan government publishes salary increase in Official Gazette
This Monday was published the document that establishes the conditions of the new salary increase decreed by Nicolás Maduro weeks ago
Through the Extraordinary Official Gazette number 41.472, dated August 31st, under decree 3.601, it is reflected that the new minimum wage, which is linked to the cryptocurrency Petro, will be 1,800 Bolívares Soberanos as of September 1st of the current year.
On the other hand, the Minister for Communication Jorge Rodríguez informed that during this evening more information will be provided with respect to the new minimum monthly allowance, although he announced that the value of the food bonus will be 180 BsS.
With this, the integral minimum wage is established in 1,980 BsS. The Official Gazette is inserted below:
