Venezuela, the third largest cryptocurrency user in the world

A report by the firm Chainalysis showed that Venezuela ranks as the third country in the world, only behind Ukraine and Russia in the adoption of payments with cryptocurrencies.

The blockchain analysis company indicated that the Latin American country obtained a score of 0.80 on a scale of 0 to 1 in terms of measuring the use of digital assets.

On the other hand, the report showed that the LocalBitcoins platform is the most used by Venezuelans, being also the third or second most active in the world in terms of Internet users.

Meanwhile, the United States and Russia are the countries that most use this digital medium of exchange, based on strong cryptography to secure transactions and that surpasses the activity of Venezuela.
