Venezuela signs alliance for salt exploitation in the eastern part of the country

The government of the Venezuelan state of Sucre, in the eastern part of the country, signed an alliance with the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP) for an investment in salt exploitation in Araya, Cruz Salmerón Acosta municipality

A strategic alliance between the government of the state of Sucre, in the eastern part of Venezuela, and the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP) will allow international investment for the exploitation of the Araya salt mines, in the Cruz Salmerón Acosta municipality.

The agreement “includes an investment of more than $30 million, which represents a crucial step in strengthening Venezuela’s productive economy,” according to the CIIP team on its official Instagram account.

The initiative not only strengthens foreign investors’ confidence in Venezuela’s potential, but also seeks to “promote high-impact projects that energize strategic sectors.”

The international investment will be aimed at laying the foundation for “sustainable and diversified economic growth that benefits local communities and the country as a whole.”
