Venezuela announces new maritime trade route to China

The agreement for the new maritime trade route between Venezuela and China, called Tianjin-Caracas, will optimize bilateral trade and foster greater integration between the economies of Asia and Latin America

The governments of Venezuela and China agreed to launch a new bilateral trade route, called the Tianjin-Caracas route, which will strengthen the economies of both regions.

“The new maritime route will connect the port of Tianjin, in northern China, with Venezuelan ports,” according to spokespeople in Venezuela.

It is expected that this new trade connection between Venezuela and China will reduce transit times for goods in both directions, and optimize logistics and facilitate trade flows.

Furthermore, this new trade route is expected to substantially increase the volume of bilateral trade, in a relationship based on mutual respect, sovereignty, and shared benefit.
