Upbit will start operations in Singapore in October

The main exchange operator in cryptocurrencies of South Korea will offer transactions in Singapore dollar as well as between crypto currencies based on three markets of the American Bittrex

Upbit, the main cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea, announced that in October it will start operations in a branch in Singapore.

Although the company has not indicated the opening date, it was known that it will be during the first days of the month. Spokespeople from Upbit have highlighted the opening of Singapore towards blockchain technology and insisted that they will look for various mechanisms to develop competitive projects.

Those responsible for the main crypto exchange in South Korea prefer not to wait any longer to start activities in Singapore, in order to avoid losing opportunities to their competitors.

On the operation in the new territory, they informed that it will be available in English. It will offer exchanges in local dollar and in digital assets with the support of three markets of the American Bittrex. In the future they hope to incorporate more cryptocurrencies.

Upbit follows in the footsteps of other companies that have also extended to Singapore, such as the Japanese Line or the Korean Naver.
