United States invested in DLT research

The US National Science Foundation awarded $ 819,000 to Subhashini Sivagnanam, a software architect and developer of the Neuroscience Gateaway (NSG)

This Tuesday it was learned that the US government, through the US National Science Foundation (NSF), would have given approximately 819 thousand dollars to Subhashini Sivagnanam, a software architect and developer of the Neuroscience Gateaway (NSG).

This money was granted to him so he could continue with his work of research and development of the Open Science Chain (OC) project.

The donation will allow the project to start on September 1st and extend until August 31st, 2021.

The objective of this project, as indicated by several public records, lies in the need to develop a “web-based cyberstructure platform built using distributed accounting technologies that allow researchers to provide metadata and verify information about their sets of scientific data, as well as update their information to allow them to evolve over time in an auditable way”.

The NSF is one of the most important scientific research spaces in the world and has always stood out as an entity that helps many projects related to technology.

So far this year, the US government has distributed at least three million dollars in financing for projects related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
