Uber will activate audio recording feature in Mexico and Brazil

The objective is to provide customers with safety mechanisms during the trip through a function similar to the "panic button" of the company

Security is one of the primary factors for every society. In terms of transport, the well-known travel company UBER remains at the forefront with innovations such as the panic button in its application. And to continue advancing bet on a function that allows you to record audios during the trip.

This innovation will allow the client and the driver to be more confident, as well as avoiding inappropriate behavior. The measure is part of UBER’s policies to provide a higher quality service.

The function can be predetermined to record all trips by default. This will generate a record that in turn will be uploaded to the UBER servers in case the client or the driver considers that there was inappropriate behavior on the part of the other.

The function is in the trial period in Mexico and Brazil, thanks to the legislation of both nations allowing the implementation of this system. In any case, the company must be cautious about aspects such as customer and driver privacy, as well as the laws in force in the country where it intends to market the function.
