Twitter suspends accounts for controlled manipulation cases

The social network continues to apply restrictions to accounts that do not conform to the policies of the platform. This time it reached more than 700 in Iran and the United States

Twitter continues the fight to avoid the misuse of data and in this sense has closed more than 700 accounts for what they have called controlled manipulation.

Twitter’s prevention campaign began months ago to regulate actions that go against the platform’s policies. However, it recently suspended a large number of accounts for adverse messages to the Donald Trump government.

The United States and Iran are the main countries where the accounts were closed, an action that coincides with the international tensions that arise due to the tariff restrictions of the former towards other countries.

Through the account @TwitterSafety the information was released, indicating the reasons why users have been blocked and emphasizing that they do not intend to silence the right to communicate.

Other reasons that the social network argues to suspend accounts aggressively are the dissemination of false news, or fake news, as well as political misinformation, a subject considered highly sensitive.
