Twitter launches new function to send audio

Voice tweets will have a capacity of 140 seconds and will be available to all users with iOS devices

Twitter social network again impresses Internet users with the new feature to improve its service through the option to record audio fragments and attach them to tweets, as announced the microblogging service.

According to a statement issued by the company to the Europa Press newspaper, the voice tweets come with the aim of “bringing a more human touch” to Twitter. “Very often some nuances of the conversation are lost” and some written publications are left without sense, but with voice tweets the communication of information between users can be more fluid.

It is possible to create the voice tweets through a new icon with the sound waveform that has been included in the tweet composition window. Then the profile picture and the record button are displayed, so the users can record their voice.

As it is already know, when sending a tweet, you must comply with a series of basic computer skills, among them the adequate scope of the characters. Just as sending information over the network must comply with 140 characters, voice tweets must take 140 seconds.

It is important to note that the tool can only be added to the original tweets. That is, they will not be used for responses or retweets with comments. Once the recording is finished, you have to press the ready button and the network will be saved.
