Six weeks after the US government shutdown, President Donald Trump signed a funding order on Wednesday night, November 12, allowing various affected economic sectors to return to normal operations

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, signed a funding order on Wednesday, November 12, ending the longest government shutdown in the country’s history, which lasted 43 days.

What does this mean for the country? CNN reports that with the signing of the funding bill, federal employees will receive their salaries again; national parks will reopen; restricted or completely suspended government services will resume, as will air travel.
