TechCrunch has shared its top 10 most valuable startups in the world with unicorns that have managed to surpass the 1,000 million dollars of valuation generating many more disruptions in the market. One of the technology companies that led the list of the 10 Startups is Ant Financial, who has managed to accumulate 150,000 million dollars, occupying 70% of the mobile payment market in China.
For 2018, Uber – one of the most recognized American technology companies- was leading the list of the top 10. Today ByteDance takes the place by accumulating 75,000 million dollars as of October 2018. The same case goes for the global software company Infor, which creates products in the cloud for SMEs and large companies, obtaining a valuation of 60,000 million dollars as of January 2019.
Didi Chuxing is next on the list, positioned in fourth place and considered a great rival of Uber that according to the list has a valuation of 53,000 million dollars. Meanwhile, the parent company of the multinational office and space rental company The We Company, reaches fifth place with 47,000 million dollars, followed by Lu.com with 39,000 million dollars of valuations achieved.
The American Startups JUUL, dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of electric nicotine vaporizers, is number seven and is positioned with 38,000 million dollars. It s followed by the online payment platform Stripe that due to its multi-currency support generates a valuation of 35,000 million dollars.
Airbnb is in ninth place with 31,000 million dollars and finally we find SpaceX with a valuation of 31,000 million dollars. In the business world, innovation is a key point for success and although the risks increase luck, it can help to conquer consumers and in turn become one of the most valuable startups in the world.
