“Tony Stark” proposes to save the planet with nanotechnology

Robert Downey Jr, known for his role as Iron Man on the movies, wants to create an Ecological Footprint Coalition to cleanse the world using nanotechnology

For the actor Robert Downey Jr, known for playing Iron Man for a decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, technology can be used for the greater good of saving the planet. “With robotics and nanotechnology we could clean the planet significantly, if not completely, in ten years.”

At the moment there are no further details on the road map that the Footprint Coalition will follow to reach the goal set. It is only known that April 2020 was set as the filing date for the group.

The famous actor made the announcement at the conference called Re: Mars of Amazon; the event that takes place in Las Vegas and where the world of technology joins to present proposals that have to do with the following topics: machine learning, robotics and space.

Downey Jr spoke about how Artificial Intelligence gave him the necessary hope to save the planet after admitting that he himself was very alarmed, not only by the current state of the environment, but by realizing that he has contributed in large part to this deterioration.

“Tony Stark’s” approach to the wonders that Artificial Intelligence can do comes from the documentaries on YouTube that he produces with his wife Susan Downey. For these works they receive experts who speak about science, philosophy, technology, engineering, medicine, entertainment and art.
