The update of ethereum is getting closer

The release of the update was scheduled for last month but was delayed due to an error in the code discovered by Chain Security

The novelty of ethereum called Constantinople seems to finally have its scheduled launch date by the end of February. Thanks to the development of several ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), the update will optimize the performance and maintenance of the platform.

The bifurcation of the tool will reach the 7,280,000 block and the Ethereum Foundation said it will communicate better with the miners to avoid possible problems, after the error last month, some of them found themselves mining in an invalid blockchain.

One of the solutions that the developers implemented was to eliminate the problematic EIP 1283 from the launch of Constantinople.

Likewise, the inventors have the goal of introducing two branches in the 7,280,000 block. The first one to implement Constantinople and the second to exclude the EIP in question. The developers also said that the tests for the update are over.

An important feature of the tool is the ability to make changes to a smart contract over multiple transactions, as long as certain conditions are met.
