The United Kingdom, in the hands of Dominic Raab
Due to the current health situation of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the chancellor temporarily assumed his duties
The Chancellor of the United Kingdom, Dominic Raab, went on to take the functions of Prime Minister that nowadays belong to Boris Johnson, given his delicate state of health.
This week Raab has already had to preside over two morning meetings, one on Monday morning when Johnson was transferred to UCI, and the one on Tuesday.
Now, the chancellor will have to be part of the Prime Minister role until Johnson’s health, affected by the coronavirus, improves to continue with his position.
One of Raab’s main functions will be to coordinate the work of the other ministers in charge of government committees, with the main focus of the fight against the coronavirus.
Despite the fact that the chancellor was a rival in the battle for the position of Prime Minister during 2019, he assured that he will maintain the same line managed by Johnson in terms of government management.
