The president of CaixaBank, of Spain, assured that the entities have their favorable aspects in front of the fintech era
The chairman of CaixaBank, Jordi Gual, stressed on wednesday that the banking sector still has the support of people despite being in the “fintech” era.
However, he stressed that banking institutions should never neglect the comfort of their customers, so they should always do what is necessary to make the user experience satisfactory.
During his participation in the 6th Annual Forum of the Counselor organized by KPMG, IESE and El País, Gual assured that digital transformation is a fundamental factor that CaixaBank and the rest of banks must always take into account.
“We live in an uncertain economic and financial world and in that context, profitability and solvency are key,” explained Gual.
