Taylor Swift implements facial recognition in her concerts

The artist has been secretly implementing facial recognition systems in her concerts to identify her stalkers

According to the information provided to media, the team of Taylor Swift premiered last May a system that scanned the faces of the public in order to recognize some of the stalkers of the singer at a concert in California.

The security director of the company Oak View Group, Mike Downing, said that a kiosk was set up showing some videos of the artist during her rehearsals. What nobody imagined is that the kiosk secretly scanned the face of everyone who watched the videos.

All the information gathered was sent to a control center in Nashville, Tennessee where there was a team in charge of looking for matches among the attendees and hundreds of images of known Taylor Swift harassers.

Although the event has not been confirmed, this would be the first time that this type of technology is used during a massive concert to detect besiegers in the United States.

It is important to highlight that the aforementioned practice is completely legal, since a concert is a private event where the organizers can submit the participants to any kind of surveillance.
