Stadia, Google’s streaming video game platform

It is considered one of the largest projects of the American company representing a great leap for the video game industry

Google Stadia, announced earlier this year, is considered one of the great projects of the US company and a great leap for the video game industry, reaching about twenty titles that can be played without a console, just having a subscription to your service, Internet connection and a smart device.

To enjoy streaming entertainment, people only need a television with a Chromecast Ultra or a smart mobile device Pixel, computer or tablet, and also have a subscription to the service.

Stadia Characteristics

The service promises high-quality technical features: resolution up to 4K, graphic quality of 60 fps (frames per second) and 5.1 sound. The minimum WiFi speed to access is 10 Mbps, although the platform recommends 35 Mbps.

The catalog of the video game platform, which is launched in 14 countries except Mexico, has a diversity in games such as Assansin’s Creed, Final Fantasy XV, Metro Exodus, Red Dead Redemption 2, Ghost Recon Breakpoin, Mortal Kombat 11 or Gylt, a exclusive game of the Spanish platform and studio Tequila Works.

It is expected that the company will have a free subscription service by 2020 – the games will have to be purchased – with less technical performance and with a resolution of 1080p, 60 fps and stereo sound.
