Specs, the smart glasses that help you focus through AI

The glasses use computer vision and heart rate biosensors to track user productivity in real time

The startup Auctify has introduced smart glasses called Specs that help users focus on a specific task and avoid distractions using Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The smart glasses have been announced through a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo, where the startup seeks financing and in which they can already be ordered in advance for a price of 201 euros. Specs uses computer vision and heart rate biosensors to track user productivity and alert them in real time when they are distracted from the activity they are doing.

Thanks to its sensors, the glasses can track heart rate, activities and concentration level, as well as indicate exactly what the user is focused on and whether or not it is what to focus on. Likewise, they have a camera integrated into their frame that, through machine learning, identifies what the user is looking at, records the data and sends it to an application for mobile devices.

Through the application, users can customize the settings according to their needs. For example, they can indicate specific sites such as Netflix or Facebook so that the glasses notify them when they enter their pages and they can resume the activity they were doing.

Auctify further ensures that Specs smart glasses are not only designed for work, they can also be used to spend more time reading a book or even exercising.
