Sony launches new wireless speaker for televisions

The device includes a remote control for listening to television in any part of the house

Sony has announced the SRS-LSR200 wireless speaker, which allows you to take the television’s audio anywhere in the house to continue listening to programs, which has an integrated control to change channels.

Specifically, it incorporates a specific speaker for the voice, located between the left and right stereo speakers, which is designed to specially reproduce the sound frequencies of the voice and eliminates the influence of the left and right speakers, which minimizes distortion and allows the reproduction of a clear and crisp voice.

The device also uses Voice Zoom technology, which, as the company explains in a statement, detects the components of the human voice and enhances it over other sounds. In addition to the normal stereo playback mode, it offers Voice Zoom, which brings the voice to the fore, and Voice Zoom 2, which emphasizes the high frequencies.

It also has passive radiators, which realistically reproduce the lowest voice register, and which are installed on the left and right sides of the device. With this, the voice sounds more real and natural, according to the company.

The device includes a remote control that allows you to change channels and inputs, and that is compatible with the main brands of televisions, it also has a handle to transport it and it is resistant to splashes, in case it is taken to the bathroom or kitchen . It is expected to be available to the public initially in Spain, for the month of September and will cost 179 euros.
