Skrill launches direct crypto exchange function

The money transfer platform allows customers to exchange bitcoin for bitcoin cash, ether, litecoin or ripple

The online payment platform Skrill, owned by Paysafe, surprised its customers by announcing the possibility of buying all the cryptocurrencies available in the system with bitcoin.

The good news continues, since Skrill expressed the creation of a function similar to the Neteller wallet – also owned by Paysafe – for the year 2020.

The London-based company also indicated the elimination of the function to convert cryptocurrencies into fiat money and then make a purchase.

With the Skrill service, users will have the opportunity to trade directly and quickly with nine cryptocurrencies. This includes bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ripple, ether, litecoin as well as the use of more than 40 compatible fiduciary options.

On the possibility of buying crypto assets directly with bitcoin, Skrill CEO Lorenzo Pellegrino said: “Cryptocurrency is an important part of what we do in digital wallets and when using our scale and our vast experience in the payment industry, we are continually improving our service to help our customers make the most of the crypto ecosystem.”
