Sequel of Dungeon Defenders will integrate blockchain technology

The creators of the game announced that they will offer new reward features to players

The company Trendy Entertainment, creators of the videogame Dungeon Defenders, announced that the sequel will integrate a reward system based on blockchain technology. For this they have partnered with the startup Signal Zero.

In addition to offering a new reward feature, they also bet on achieving a fair and free game for their customers around the world. This has been enthusiastically emphasized by Drew Curby, the company’s development director.

To implement the immediate rewards, they will use the smart contracts executed through the blockchain Loot, developed by the company Signal Zero. For their part, the players will use graphical or central processing units that will allow them to execute the work test algorithm for the other version of the Loot blockchain in Dungeon Defenders II.

According to Tobias Batton, the founder of Signal Zero, the sequel to the videogame will be the first product to use Blockchain Loot, although it will not be the only one, so its design will allow participants to earn rewards and exchange them in other games. They can also buy them in separate games.

A novelty in the universe of online games that increasingly captivates more people in the world, with support of new technologies and incomparable offers.
