Secasports School advanced to the Grand Final of the Conmebol Development League

The Escuela de Fútbol Menor Secasports will seek to become National Champion of the Conmebol Development League to represent Venezuela in the international tournament to be held in Paraguay.
The Secasports U14 men’s team managed to beat its closest rival, Atlético Camino, from Sucre state, in the second leg with a score of 3-0, after having drawn 1-1 in the first leg, held in Cumaná.
One game away from being the League Champions in 2023
Gabriel Gallo, sports director of the Escuela Secasports and coach of the team, explained that for several months the athletes have worked hard to win the championship, overcoming all obstacles, and now they are one game away from being the League Champions.
He recalled that the tournament began on October 4 with the state phase, with 5 teams that played the group phase that ended on November 1, with the classification of 2 teams for each group.
The state final phase began in the quarterfinals on November 8, when Secasports faced their similar team from Santa Rosa soccer, obtaining a 9-0 victory, thus getting their pass to the semifinal.
In the next phase, Secasports defeated the Escuela Fútbol para Todos team, to then face the C.S. Madeirense, in the field of Empresas Polar, where they won 1-0.
Phase 2 of the zone was played by the teams from Cojedes, Aragua and Carabobo. In this phase, Secasports faced Trinidad de Aragua and achieved a 1-0 victory on the road, and closed the local key with a score of 5-1 against Pablo Robledo FC’s team, from Cojedes.
In the quarterfinals, Secasports played the first leg against Deportivo Miranda at home, equalizing the shares at 0; But in the second leg held in Caracas, he won the victory with 3 goals to 0.
The first leg of the semifinal took place in eastern Venezuela, and the return home, where Scasports was able to write their name in the Grand Final, to face their similar Estudiantes de Mérida, on a date yet to be defined.
