Santander, Zara and Movistar are leaders in the Spanish market

Experts assure that the most consolidated brands are willing to face the uncertain future of the Spanish economy

According to the report published by Brand Finance, the independent consultancy firm for brand valuation, the Santander credit institution has positioned itself as the leader of the most valuable brands in the European country.

According to the analysis, Santander occupies the first place in the list of the most valuable brands in Spain, with a value of 15,852 million euros, increasing a total value of its brand for 27%.

The textile sector has also gained ground in this area, such as Zara that this year has given the throne of the national ranking to Banco Santander, but continues to lead the sector with a brand value of 13,166.

Telecommunications have managed to fit among the top brands on the list, especially Movistar, which this year has risen to number three and despite having decreased by -5%, its value has slightly improved its Strength Index.

For its part, the brand headed by Juan Roig, rises 4 places in the national ranking and El Corte Inglés, a global distribution group, maintains the 5th position in the ranking with an increase in its value of 6%.
