Russia approves mining operations
The Central Bank of Russia will begin operations with the company Minery in five complexes in several areas of Siberia
The Central Bank of Russia approved the activity of mining through the company Minery in three cities of Siberia. The decision does not include trade in cryptocurrencies, because it is illegal in the governmental sphere.
In Siberia, together with the Bratsk electricity company, five mining complexes with capacities of 55 megawatts will be built. They have already selected an area of 5 thousand square meters. Controls are maintained in terms of energy consumption, given that in the past there were short circuits and fires due to various excesses.
Ilya Bruman, co-founder and CEO of Minery, revealed that the complexes will be located in three different cities. They will take advantage of the renewable resources of the hydroelectric power plants around Bratsk, Irkutsk and Ust-Ilimsk in Siberia.
