Russia and Saudi Arabia to use artificial intelligence to explore oil and gas

Both nations are willing and committed to stabilizing oil prices

Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, in charge of the negotiations in the OPEC + alliance, reported on the new initiative undertaken in conjunction with Saudi Arabia to use artificial intelligence in the oil and gas exploration process

According to the statements offered by the executive, the intention is for both countries to contribute to the stabilization of oil prices.

“There is a joint initiative to use artificial intelligence in oil and gas exploration,” Novak said at a press conference held in Riyadh in the company of the Saudi Energy Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salmán.

At the end of a meeting of the Russian-Saudi committee for economic and commercial cooperation, Novak confirmed that both countries have joined efforts to strengthen their relations, stating that an agreement worth 5,000 million dollars was signed at the meeting.

During 2020, the minister asserted that the volume of trade with the sister country has increased by 60%, compared to last year.
