Venezuelans who wish to apply for a passport can consult the costs through the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Foreigners (SAIME), which has published the amounts in bolivars and dollars.
For the month of January, the agency has established an adjustment to the fees:

- Children and adolescents between three and 17 years old: passport valid for five years at a cost of $164.
- Children under three years old: three-year validity at a cost of $120.
The cost structure varies according to the document’s validity period and the citizen’s age.

The expedited or express passport service remains available for citizens who wish or need to obtain the document urgently.
Delivery with the express service is within 48 hours of attending the biometric data collection appointment, and the cost is $150 for adults over 18 years old, $310 for minors between three and 17 years old, and $290 for children under three years old.
