Through its web page the organization released this information on the Opec reference basket, which groups together Sahara Blend (Algeria), Girasol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Sapphire (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (United Arab Emirates) and Merey (Venezuela).

The dynamics of the international market showed an increase of 40 cents for Brent, the international benchmark for oil prices.

In the case of North Sea Brent “for deliveries in January quoted this Monday to $ 59.20 at the start of the electronic market Intercontinental Petroleum Exchange (ICE),” according to information to the media.

During the next OPEC Summit that will take place on December 6th, the pact of the organization with other producer countries such as Russia will be discussed, with a view to recovering equilibrium in the market. Regarding the Venezuelan case, the price of oil experienced a decrease of 18.9 yuan / barrel. As reported last Friday the Ministry for Petroleum, went from 424, 20 to 405.30 yuan.
