Polio vaccination campaign begins in Venezuela
The Venezuelan government launched the national polio vaccination campaign from February 10 to March 28 to ensure care for children from 1 to 8 years of age
The health authorities of Venezuela launched this Monday, February 10, and until March 28, the national polio vaccination campaign to serve the child population between 1 and 8 years of age.
According to the Ministry of Health, in the case of children between 1 and 5 years of age who have only one dose of the vaccine, or none, the corresponding scheme will be activated to guarantee their protection.
The campaign will be carried out in different health centers in the country and a high percentage of educational centers through the “Health Plan goes to School”.
The ministry urges parents and guardians to take their children to the centers to receive the respective immunization.
