The US blockchain company Paragon, which works with solutions for monitoring seeds in the marijuana industry in the medicinal field, announced that it will use this technology to provide a new verification service.
Specifically, customers can use any document that identifies them in order to better adhere to regulatory standards imposed by the governments of different countries.
This new technology is possible thanks to an alliance made with Civic Technologies Inc, a company dedicated to digital identity and security.
“By using identity verification, we hold users accountable, which brings an additional level of transparency to the industry. The ability to easily identify you through Civic provides a simple way for our users to confirm important data such as their age,“ explained Jessica VerSteeg, CEO of Paragon.
This solution, which works with smart contracts, will ensure that the identification problems be left behind since they will be permanently registered and they will never be eliminated from the archive.
