Nvidia had better profits during 2018
The company dedicated to the manufacture of computer chips got 21% more than in 2017
The multinational company dedicated to the development of cards for graphic processing, Nvidia, announced that it increased its profits in 2018 with respect to 2017.
In its annual report, the fiscal year 2018 closed with average revenue valued at 11.72 billion dollars.
With respect to 2017, the gains were 21% higher, something that surprised many due to the disappointing Q4 that Nvidia had during 2018.
The company had a 30% drop in this area due to the low demand of computer chips by the cryptocurrency miners.
The miners seemed unaffected by the prolonged bear market. However, by the third quarter of 2018, it became clear that the miners were stopping buying equipment.
