New wallet of goTenna works without internet

The app allows users to synchronize their phones with Android system for the secure delivery of digital currency when the network fails

Before the avalanche of technological advances and their applications in digital commerce, failures on the internet can represent an irretrievable loss or a great shock. Cryptocurrency investors use from cell phones to tablets and desktops for online transactions. The novelty is to make them offline; that is, without the need of internet connection.

The solution comes hand in hand with a partnership between Samourai Wallet and the New York startup goTenna, with an application that works as a wallet on the Android platform. It’s txTenna and will give cell phone users with a goTenna gadget, set up the wallet app to do their offline transactions with Bitcoins.

There must be synchrony between the telephone and the receiving device so that the transmission of data takes place in a system called mesh, with interconnected nodes. The mechanism, used before WiFi appeared, prevents identifying the users and their data, which provides privacy and security.
