Nestlé will use Blockchain technology

The idea is that the history of a product can be stored and made known to the public from where and when the seed that allowed it to grow was planted

United for the welfare of society, Nestlé and IBM are working on studies with the aim of improving food services in the world, ensuring the safety of consumers.

Both companies will use the individual advantages of each, since IBM is considered one of the best companies in Blockchain, in relation to their research and projects where they are applying their advances.

On the other hand, Nestlé, in recent years, has focused on studying how to innovate its production lines, seeking to guarantee the quality of its products and lead in the markets.

The idea is that thanks to the Blockchain technology, the history of a product can be stored and made known to the public from where and when the seed was planted that allowed it to grow, until it was acquired by a consumer.

In order to do this, Nestlé is implementing storage methods in the IBM Cloud, improved with blockchain, while IBM prepares software that allows the compatibility of the production plants with the new system. In this way, they will monitor the quality of the product so that the user doesn’t run any risk, and also is related to the purchase of it to avoid scams or problems.
