Montevideo will host the next BitcoinDay 2019
The event will take place this May 24 in the Mario Benedetti room of the Antel Auditorium in Montevideo. Participants can obtain information on cryptocurrencies, purchase and sale, investment, blockchain technology, benefits for people and companies in Latin America
The current business models based on the blockchain technology will be a topic to be discussed in the next edition of Montevideo BitcoinDay this Friday, May 24 in the Mario Benedetti room of the Antel Auditorium.
The event is aimed at all audiences and dedicated to providing “from basic concepts about the main cryptocurrencies, to specific information about their purchase and sale, investment, business uses and benefits for entrepreneurs and companies that want to rise to the revolution of the Internet of value”.
Among the speakers are prominent pioneers of blockchain technology in Latin America and the world, such as Franco Amati, co-founder of Signatura and NGO Bitcoin Iberoamérica; Carlos Maslatón, Head of Treasury of XAPO; Pablo Magro, Latam Business Development at OKCoin; Dr. Sandra Garín, specialist in cryptocurrency regulations; Elian Huesca, Latam Ambassador in Decred.
Álvaro Gandía, organizer and responsible for the event, in collaboration with Alejandro Narancio – Co-founder of Infuy – invites companies and entrepreneurs interested in the subject to participate in Montevideo BitcoinDay 2019, and interact with experts in blockchain technology and the Internet of value. The latter allows to transmit value in a digital and decentralized way to transactions between two people or entities without the need of intermediaries.
The theme of the 24th includes aspects such as: “What is it and why the world is changing the Internet of value, current and near future of bitcoin, bitcoin vs establishment, legal aspects and regulatory context, local and international exchanges and an exchange panel with references on successful use cases in blockchain and the Internet of value.”
The previous day, on Thursday 23, there will be a series of workshops at the Zonamérica Campus, aimed at developers and entrepreneurs interested in business with cryptocurrencies, smart contracts and the application of blockchain for business, logistics and regulations, “with references of companies such as RSK, Keoken, dexFreight, Bitex.la, Koibanx and others “.
