Millennials prefer cryptocurrencies to stock markets

A survey found that this generation has a greater preference for investments in digital assets than for the United States stock market

A survey found that millennials tend to bet more on the use of cryptocurrencies than investing in the stock market.

This group and the younger generations have a special affinity with bitcoin, and the rest of the cryptocurrencies in general.

eToro consulted a thousand merchants in lines, 43% of them being part of the group of millennials. They trust cryptocurrency exchanges and not the United States stock market.

Millennials are those who became adults in the new century. Many say that those born between 1981 and 1993 are part of this group, and some include those born in the late 70s.

Guy Hirsch, Executive Director of eToro US, sees this as a clear “change of generation”. He stated through a press release.

“We are seeing the beginning of a generational change in the confidence of the traditional stock exchanges to the cryptographic exchanges, at the heart of this change are the asset classes themselves”, said the director.
