Microsoft announces new features for Teams

The company created by Bill Gates also highlighted that the number of users in one week grew by 40%

Microsoft announced new features on its Teams platform, on the occasion of its third anniversary, and highlighted that the number of daily users has grown by nearly 40% in one week, reaching 44 million.

The Microsoft Teams platform offers capabilities for chat applications, video calls, file sharing and unlimited file storage, among other functions.

This platform makes it easier for workers to carry out their tasks from home and for students to continue with their classes, which in one week has raised its number of daily users to 44 million.

In addition, these users have generated more than 900 million minutes of meetings and group calls every day during this week alone, according to the company in a statement.

Microsoft also mentioned new features on the Teams platform, such as noise suppression in real time during video calls.

Real-time noise suppression allows you to “minimize distracting background noise” to other participants during a call and allows you to better hear what the talking user is saying.

To demonstrate how noise suppression works, the company has released a video in which a person grabs potato chips from a bag while talking during a video call. Thanks to this function, the noise of the bag is practically eliminated and allows listeners to hear the person better.
