Litecoin Foundation announced recently on its website that the litecoin cryptocurrency became the official cryptographic currency of the Miami Dolphins football team

Litecoin became the team’s cryptoactive following an association between the sports organization Litecoin and the service provider Aliant Payments which offers payment solutions with virtual currencies.

They also announced that fans of the Miami Dolphins will be able to use litecoins and bitcoins to buy tickets for the upcoming NFL season.

Litecoin Foundation says: “The launch for the 2019 season of the NFL, the collaboration with the Miami Dolphins gives Litecoin the ability to access one of the NFL’s biggest and most passionate fan base through the brand in the game and the advertising opportunities at the Hard Rock Stadium, as well as the inclusion through the diverse online properties of the team and the digital content.”

Half of the proceeds collected from 50/50 tickets will benefit the Miami Dolphins Foundation and its charitable causes. Tickets can be purchased online and at 14 kiosks and raffle sellers throughout the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Litecoin founder and CEO of Litecoin Foundation, Charlie Lee said he was delighted to see how the cryptoactive in this blockchain became the official cryptocurrency of the Miami Dolphins.
