Miami could be a bitcoin mining hub
The mayor of the town stressed that he would like his city to become a space to carry out this activity, with global impact
Francis Suárez, Mayor of Miami, acknowledged that he has the goal of turning the American city into a high-impact mining center in the world.
Suárez indicated that there is a great attraction in the city, related to the nuclear energy capacity that the city has.
During an interview that the mayor gave, he spoke about the general perspective that society has regarding this activity, indicating that many have created a “war” against mining due to the harmful cash that it would have against the environment.
Nuclear energy would have been proposed as a clean and licit energy option for the performance of the activity. Suárez also put solar and hydrogen energy as an alternative that could be considered as options in the near future.
