The Ministry of Finance published the list of guidelines for those interested in entering the Initial Currency Offer (ICO)

This Friday, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania published the list of guidelines to be followed by those interested in entering the bid for an Initial Currency Offer (ICO) in that nation.

In said document are expressed what are the regulations to which the bidders will be submitted. The list covers issues related to anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism laws, as well as the taxes and accounting rules that apply.

The main objective of this guide is to show greater progress in terms of security and transparency in regard to regulation, auditing, accounting and other requirements.

At the moment ICO does not have any regulation in Lithuania, however, a series of indications from the Ministry of Finance may be regulated at some point by the Central Bank of that country.

Vilius Šapok, Minister of Finance, said that these ICOs and blockchain projects were something sudden that came to Lithuania.
