LG works together with the Swedish company Assa Abloy Entrance Systems in the design of transparent automatic doors made of OLED panels.
The project combines the OLED transparent signage solution with LG’s integrated content management SuperSign software and automatic doors from Assa Abloy Entrance Systems.
As explained by LG, the transparent OLED panel reproduces images with accurate colors, brightness and high contrast, while allowing you to see the objects on the other side.
The objective of this project is to work on a type of transparent automatic door that would allow new ways of communicating with customers or employees.
The project could even deploy less intrusive advertising and marketing campaigns, as the company points out on its official news website.
