It’s time for a modern and affordable reserve currency

Currently the US dollar is considered a stable world reserve currency

The economic crisis the world is going through has highlighted the need for international cooperation and support. However, markets do not exist in a scenario where supply and demand are absent. Among the reasons to consider the US dollar the world’s reserve currency are its strength and potential.

In current times, many countries have decided to keep their US dollars because their local currencies have been rapidly devalued and they have turned to digital currencies. The question is, will cryptocurrency be a new reserve currency for the future?.

Another concern that comes with placing crypto as a sustainable currency for the future is that they do not have the flexibility to resolve global contracts. While it is true that digital currencies have become internationally established the next reserve currency would need the support of an infrastructure to support mass adoption and general use.

Since the launching of bitcoin in the market, the cryptocurrency has become the pinnacle of international economic cooperation in the modern era, becoming a very real and viable candidate for the next global reserve currency. To date, its potential has managed to completely reconstruct the role of government in the financial sphere and its mission to revolutionize and expand access to markets.
