Iran develops its own cryptocurrency

The Persian country would be working on agreements with other nations to make payments using digital currencies

According to the Iranian media Tehrantimes, the country is on final stage of its own cryptocurrency, which is expected to come out in the coming weeks.

Several countries such as Switzerland, South Africa, France, the United Kingdom, Russia, Austria, Germany and Bosnia would already have established talks and agreements with Iran to support the incipient payment system.

It should be noted that Iran is not the only country to try to escape sanctions through blockchain technology. Recently Russia showed interest in the creation of a new currency based on blockchain in order to avoid USA economic restrictions. However, the attempts to evade punishments with centralized cryptocurrencies have not been successful.

Undoubtedly, all the countries involved are waiting for the launch of the emerging cryptocurrency of Iran which is expected to be launched soon.
