Hyundai Motor Group donates $1 million to support earthquake recovery
The donation to Venezuela will be channeled through the Korean Red Cross to support humanitarian aid efforts and recovery activities in affected communities
Hyundai Motor Group officially announced a $1 million donation to support relief and recovery efforts in Venezuela following the recent earthquake that caused significant damage in the affected regions.
The donation will be channeled through the Korean Red Cross (KNRC) and distributed via the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Emergency Appeal, supporting humanitarian aid and recovery operations through the Venezuelan Red Cross (VRC) for communities impacted by the disaster.
As a member of the global community, Hyundai Motor Group has maintained its commitment to humanitarian aid in the face of major natural disasters around the world. Recent contributions include relief efforts following the California wildfires in the United States in 2025; the earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya in 2023; the earthquake in Turkey in 2023; and Hurricane Ian in the United States in 2022.
