Huawei to deepen AI development and 5G network

The giant of China announced the construction of a research center in the city of Hefei, where they intend to deepen knowledge in these areas

In recent weeks the Asian company Huawei has been in the spotlight due to the controversy that has generated the breakdown of relations with Google, and the trade war with the United States.

This week, the technology giant announced that it has built a research center in the Chinese city of Hefei, where it plans to investigate more about artificial intelligence and 5G networks.

The municipal government of Hefei ensures that this new center will also be used for cooperation with local universities and scientific research institutes.

The cooperation between the education sector and the Chinese telecommunications giant began in 1997 and so far they have together carried out more than 150 projects of scientific research.

Huawei is considered “the largest employer of graduates” of the University of Science and Technology of China, with more than a thousand graduates who are already part of the company’s workforce.

The technological giant is in the middle of a confrontation with Washington (USA), which accuses it of spying through its devices in favor of the government of the Asian country, while the company denies it.
