Huawei cancels P40 face-to-face presentation

The presentation of this range of phones, which was to be held in Paris on March 26, will now be made in an online broadcast

Huawei is the last company to modify the plans of its presentation event because of the concern generated by the outbreak of coronavirus, which has led to change the event in person in Paris for the launching of the P40 family to an online retransmission.

“Due to the growing concern for public health, the launch of Huawei’s flagship product, originally scheduled for March 26 in Paris, will now be presented online”, says part of the statement.

The technology company showed on February 24 its new products: the Mate Xs folding device, the MatePad Pro tablet and the MateBook X PRO 2020 laptop. At the end of this act, the CEO of Consumption, Richard Yu, shared the date of their next event.

Yu reported that on March 26, the presentation of the company’s flagship smartphone, P40, would take place in Paris. However, and given the public health concern generated by Covid-19, Huawei decided to celebrate it through an online broadcast.

This will be an international event since mobiles will be distributed worldwide. Both, the Huawei P40 and the Huawei P40 Pro, point to the highest range of phones; although the second will offer the greatest capabilities, especially in the photographic field.
